About agripellets
Agripellets are manufactured by compressing dry plants (straw, hay, etc.),
chopped into a fine fraction, turning them into pellets of a diameter of 6, 8 and 12 mm
and 20 to 40 mm long. These pellets are highly concentrated fuel material with a density of 1.4 kg / dm3.
Wide range of agripellet using
depends on the composition and quality of input material
Quality of input materiál focused to:
Using of produced pellets as:
Nutritional value
• depending on the composition of the feedstoc
FEEDING
• Dispensability
• Easy storing, handling
Absorption value
• Dryness
BEDDING
• High moisture absorption (4-5× compared to straw)
• Sterile - no germs
Composition
• Dryness of residual biomass
FERTILIZER
• Natural nutrients
• gradual supplying into the soil
Calorific value
• Dryness of residual biomass
FUEL
• The calorific value comparable with brown coal (14-17 MJ / kg)
• High efficiency of combustion in boilers used for agro pellets
Specifics of agripellet production
Seasonal availability of input nature material
require logistic costs for picking-up and storing
- variable quantity, sorting and storing costs
- Influence of nature
- Influence of people in process
Raw material is available in the landscape area
require transport cost
- by existing mechanization in agriculture industry
- Influence of transportation costs to the place of production
